Now let us reflect on "forgiving and forgetting." It is of course an entirely false antithesis. Whoever said it was possible to forget? Certainly not Jesus. He said - and we regularly repeat - Eat, drink, and remember! It is the devil who calls us to eat, drink and forget.
But it is what you do with your remembering that matters.
